We are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead accounting, reporting, control, tax, and equity-related activities. This individual will play a key role in ensuring financial integrity, compliance with accounting standards, timely reporting, and continuous improvement of financial processes across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage statutory reporting requirements and liaise with external advisors where necessary;
- Oversee corporate tax matters, including tax compliance, tax reporting, and collaboration with external tax advisors;
- Support and manage equity-related accounting and reporting activities, including share-based compensation and other equity transactions where applicable;
- Lead and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes across multiple entities;
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and internal governance requirements;
- Review and monitor balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving accounting issues in a timely manner;
- Partner with finance and business stakeholders to improve financial controls, reporting quality, and operational efficiency;
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline month-end and year-end close activities;
- Coordinate internal and external audit processes and ensure timely delivery of required documentation;
- Support the implementation and enhancement of accounting policies, procedures, and financial governance frameworks;
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development support to finance team members;
- Contribute to strategic finance projects, systems enhancements, and transformation initiatives.
Key requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field;
- Strong knowledge of IFRS;
- Mandatory: 8-10 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, financial control, or corporate finance roles;
- People oriented and knows how to manage high permance teams;
- Experience working in complex, multinational environments;
- Exposure to tax reporting and equity accounting is highly desirable;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
- High level of accountability and ownership;
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills;
- Fluent in English, other languages considered a plus.
