We are seeking a QA Android Automation Engineer to support our client's Handscanner teams, which develop Android applications used by drivers and depot operations within the logistics sector. This opportunity is best suited for freelancers or B2B consultants.⏳ Allocation period: 3 to 6 months (renewable)📌 Contract type: Freelance / B2BKey ResponsibilitiesWork closely with other QA engineers and Agile development teamsAutomate Robolectric test cases to extend component test coverageReview existing test cases and propose improvementsPrepare and manage test dataReview and increase E2E automation coverage using AppiumTest case reporting, monitoring, and results analysisBug reporting and root-cause analysisSupport the team in achieving product and delivery goalsRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong knowledge of test methodologies (ISTQB Advanced Level is a plus)Proven experience testing Android applicationsMinimum 3 years of experience in mobile test automationHands-on experience with Robolectric and AppiumExperience with Jenkins for CI/CD automationKnowledge of KotlinExperience working in Agile environmentsBackground in the logistics domain is a strong advantageAdditional InformationIf you live more than 100km from the office, there is flexibility to negotiate 1 on-site visit per monthMandatory requirement: The candidate must be a Portuguese permanent resident for at least 6 months 📌 Location: Venda do Pinheiro (Hybrid model)If you’re an experienced QA Automation Engineer looking for a flexible, short-to-mid-term freelance engagement, feel free to reach out or apply directly.
