We are looking for a Market Risk Operations Analyst to join an Operations team focused on data quality, monitoring, and reporting for market risk activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and transparency of market risk data, supporting both business users and senior management through meaningful KPIs, reporting, and continuous process improvement. Key Responsibilities Produce and monitor data quality indicators for market risk systems (timeliness, completeness, accuracy) Build, maintain, and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) used in market risk reporting Investigate data quality issues identified through KPIs and coordinate their resolution with relevant teams Contribute to the production of market risk inputs for internal systems Support the preparation of materials for committees where KPIs are reviewed with Business and Senior Management Review, document, and streamline operational processes to improve efficiency and industrialisation Build strong relationships with risk analysts and internal risk system stakeholders Actively contribute within an Agile team, ensuring alignment with colleagues working on similar topics Provide training and guidance to new system users when required Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills Solid knowledge of SQL (mandatory) Strong proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel) Knowledge of Python is a plus Familiarity with Agile frameworks is appreciated Functional Knowledge Understanding of financial products such as Stocks, Bonds, Swaps, Options, etc. is a strong plus Interest in market risk, data quality, and risk reporting Hybrid Work: 2/3x in the office in Lisbon/Porto
