We are strengthening one of our teams with an Infrastructure Engineer to support large-scale Linux environments, proactive maintenance, and 3rd-level operations for a global enterprise client. What you will doProvide technical support across Linux infrastructures, including virtual and physical serversWork within an international Agile OS Product Team supporting multiple regionsEngineer (build) and test solutions, document them, and hand them over to operationsManage environments across on-premise, private, and public cloud (IaaS / IaC)Support LDAP-based authentication servicesDeliver 3rd-level support for onshore and offshore operational teamsDrive process improvement initiatives (automation, documentation, offshore transitions)Perform proactive maintenance: upgrades, patching, hardening, vulnerability management, capacity and inventory managementEnsure service levels and audit compliance are continuously metWhat we are looking for3–5 years of hands-on experience in Linux engineering (RHEL/CentOS)Experience managing large-scale environments (hundreds to thousands of servers)Expertise with DevOps and configuration management tools (Puppet, Git; or Ansible/Salt/Chef)Knowledge of Red Hat Directory Server, DS389, OpenLDAP, or Ansible is a strong plusSolid background in OPS environments with strong troubleshooting capabilitiesBroad understanding of infrastructure domains: networking, virtualization, OS, storage, middlewareFamiliarity with ITIL processes in enterprise-scale and offshore operational modelsExcellent communication in EnglishAvailability to work in a hybrid model in LisbonWhat we offer A long-term, stable position supporting a major international project Close follow-up and support from our team A technically challenging environment working on mission-critical, high-performance systems An opportunity to grow in a hybrid role that combines engineering depth with direct client impact
