Job Title: Russian & English Interpreter/Translator (C1) — Home office Start Date: 15/01/2026 Location: Remote (Home office), Portugal contract About the Role Join a remote team delivering professional language services across critical domains. You will provide real-time interpretation (and occasional translation) in Russian and English to support clear, accurate communication in: Insurance Legal Medicine (General and Forensic) Work channels include phone and video. Precision, confidentiality, and empathy are essential. Key Responsibilities Provide consecutive/sight interpretation between Russian and English with high accuracy Handle calls/video sessions across the above domains; clarify and relay information faithfully Manage customer interactions via phone, email, and chat when required Maintain session records and follow established procedures and SLAs Uphold ethical standards and data privacy requirements Requirements Language proficiency: Russian (C1) and English UK (C1) Excellent active listening, note-taking, and memory skills Strong communication, professionalism, and cultural awareness Ability to work 24/7 rotational shifts Stable, wired internet connection (see technical requirements) Training Duration: 3 weeks, in English Schedule: 8 hours/day; start times between 08:30–09:30 depending on group Content: team integration; software onboarding; client product/services training; customer management for phone/email/chat; on-the-job practice Compensation for training: Weekly gross allowance: €92.80 Daily gross allowance: €18.56 Paid only upon successful completion; no social security during training (no employment contract during training) Working Conditions Full-time: 40 hours/week (8h/day + 1h lunch), rotational shifts 24/7 Portuguese public holidays apply; if you work a holiday, you receive a compensatory day off Trial period: 1 month after employment contract signature Compensation & Benefits (Monthly Examples) With company apartment (benefit-in-kind): Base salary: €760.00 Christmas allowance: €63.33 Holiday allowance: €63.33 Meal allowance: ~€154.00 (€7/day) Apartment benefit-in-kind: €200.00 Total package incl. benefits-in-kind: ~€1,240.66 Total gross cash compensation (excl. benefit-in-kind): ~€1,040.66 Without company apartment: Base salary: €920.00 Christmas allowance: €76.66 Holiday allowance: €76.66 Meal allowance: ~€154.00 Total gross cash compensation: ~€1,227.32 Additional Notes Holiday and Christmas allowances equal to base salary; typically paid monthly (pro rata) Meal allowance paid via card (tax-exempt, usable at restaurants/cafeterias/supermarkets) Health insurance from day one of the employment contract Social security contribution: 11% Apartment benefit-in-kind appears on pay slip and is declared for tax purposes (tax-free until 31 Dec 2026) Contract path: Sign a Selection Agreement during training Upon successful completion, sign a 12-month Employment Term Contract (extendable) Home office Equipment Provided (Welcome Kit) Mini PC (Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016, 2-year license) Monitor (21.5") Keyboard and mouse Jabra Evolve 30 II UC stereo headset Logitech HD Pro C920 1080p webcam 8.5" LCD graphic tablet (notepad) Blue backdrop for video work VRI shirts Contract documents Note: All equipment must be returned at end of contract.
