The Role: Avaloq Technical Architect📍 Location: Lisbon🏢🏠 Work Model: 4 days in the office💰🏦 Sector: Financial Services🗣️ Languages: English (B2–C1)✅ Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there🧑 💻 Your ProfileUniversity degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualificationMinimum 5 years of Avaloq development experienceExpertise in PL/SQL and database access toolsExperience with code reviews, both giving and receiving feedbackFamiliarity with unit and integration testing, manual and/or automatedExperience using IDEs such as EclipseKnowledge of Git or other version control systemsExposure to Gherkin / Cucumber is a plusAbility to work independently and take substantial personal responsibility💻 Technical Environment (What you will be working with)Avaloq Banking Suite and modulesPL/SQL and relational database technologiesEclipseGitCucumber /GherkinAgile development environment (Scrum)⚙️ What You Will Be Doing (Concrete responsibilities)🔍 Analysis:Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and analyze requirementsTranslate business needs into clear functional and technical solutions, in collaboration with developers and system architectsWrite structured functional specifications that guide implementationDefine and document test cases to validate proposed solutions🛠️ Build & Delivery Phase:Implement solutions on the Avaloq platform, using Avaloq Script (PL/SQL-based language)Develop automated tests where applicable (e.g. Gherkin / Cucumber)Execute unit tests and functional acceptance tests (FAT), using both manual and automated approachesSupport troubleshooting and solution stabilizationWhy Join Us?🌍 Innovation & Impact: Play a central role in driving the future through creative solutions🚀 Challenging projects: Modern environments, real impact, zero boredom.📚 Continuous learning: Trainings, certifications, and structured career growth.🤝 Team spirit: An international community where collaboration means something.🌈 Diversity & inclusion: At MoOngy, everyone belongs — no fine print.
