Responsibilities: Support the business in their IT needs and understand the business workflows and scenariosMaintaining a proper coverage in their designated shiftVoluntarily picking up work and tasks as received over email, tickets or in person.Provide business, team members and other project/task partnering teams updates on the issue/task/project.Documenting and training other team membersShadow other team members and seek to learn to improve day to day coverage of the platformsSharing knowledge within the team as well documenting the issues/incidents for better follow upImproving day to day tasks by writing scripts and automate tasks that are procedure oriented.Understand the underlying issue and the associated patch fix/release and identify systemic issueAvailability to work during Holidays / Weekends as per pre-defined needs and on a rotational basis with the rest of the teamRequirements:Bachelor or master’s in engineering, Computer Science, Management, or related fields.More than 3 years of experience with Linux Environments;Experience in Oracle SQL (mandatory)Experience with scripting languages and network;Experience in UNIX and ITIL understanding (is a plus)Good knowledge of DevOps/ Ansible;Fluency in English (mandatory)If you’re interested in this job please send your CV in English to marta.fonseca@decskill.com with reference “MF/APPL”Decskill is committed to equality and non-discrimination with all our talents.
