Senior Civil Engineer – Industrial Structures

Quadrante is looking to strengthen its Industry Business Unit by recruiting a Senior Civil Engineer for the Industrial Structures division, based at our Alfragide office.With both national and international projects of varying scales and typologies, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the Portuguese engineering market.Responsibilities:Develop and design concrete and steel structures for industrial projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with applicable standardsPerform advanced structural calculations, including static, dynamic, and seismic analyses, using specialized software (SAP2000, Robot)Define solutions for foundations and support structures, including geotechnical analyses and soil-structure interactionEnsure project compliance with national and international regulations, as well as industry-specific requirementsCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design optimized structural solutions for industrial facilities, energy, mining, and utilitiesPrepare technical reports, design briefs, and project specificationsStay up to date with technological advancements and implement improvements in structural design methodologies and project development processesProfile:Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Structural EngineeringFluency in English, both written and spokenMinimum of 5 to 6 years of professional experience in the development of structural design projectsProfessional experience with SAP2000/Robot, AutoCAD, Revit, or Tekla (valued)Ability to adapt and work effectively in a team, combined with a strong sense of responsibility and autonomyFocus on technical excellence, attention to detail, and strong problem-solving skillsWhat we offer:Quadrante is a global organization focused on delivering economically optimized, sustainable, and technically robust solutions.
