C# Developer – Electronic Trading Platform (Lisbon or Porto)Ossia Portugal is expanding its team and we’re looking for a talented C# Developer to contribute to the development of high-performance components for an electronic trading platform. You will join a team working on real-time systems, complex market data flows, and cutting-edge trading functionalities.🎯 Your ResponsibilitiesYou will be involved in the full lifecycle of advanced trading components, including:Design and development of components for publishing, recording and replaying internal and external market dataImplementation of simulation engines for the replay tool (what-if scenarios, custom behaviour, etc.)Development of external gateways (Horizon, ION…) and connectivity modulesContribution to best practices for real-time and high-performance application developmentClose collaboration with end-users (traders, support, front-office teams) to translate requirements into robust technical solutionsSupport in implementing and optimising trading algorithms🧩 Your ProfileStrong analytical mindset and ability to work collaboratively in an agile environmentComfortable working with trading teams and business stakeholdersExcellent technical skills in C# .NET (6+): memory management, multithreading, asynchronous programmingGood functional understanding of trading systems: order books, automata, quoting, hedging, market microstructureExperience building components that handle high-volume event streams (updates, inserts, deletes)Knowledge of electronic trading environments is a strong plus🇵🇹 Why Join Ossia Portugal ?Ossia Portugal is the newly launched Portuguese hub of Ossia Conseil, a French consulting firm specialised in Market Finance and IT.
