We are currently seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Seasonal Waiter to join our team in Funchal Portugal. As a Waiter you will be responsible for providing exemplary service to our valued guests while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Present menus, take orders and make recommendations based on guests preferences
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy of orders
- Check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any issues promptly
- Handle guest payments and process transactions accurately using POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of tables dining area and workstations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders
- Adhere to all health safety and sanitation guidelines set by the restaurant
Requirements
- Previous experience as a waiterwaitress in a fast-paced environment is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds
- Customer-oriented with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Must have own visa allowing for seasonal work in Portugal
We offer competitive salary of 1600$ per month along with tips
