Junior Android Developer
As a Junior Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications for the Android platform. You will work closely with our team of experienced developers to create high quality and user-friendly applications that meet our clients' needs. Your primary focus will be on coding, debugging, testing, and implementing new features and functionalities. This role requires a strong understanding of Java and Android development tools, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth and professional development. We offer a competitive salary of 1400$ per month, visa sponsorship, and potential relocation assistance to Faro for qualified candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of Java and Android SDK
- Experience with Android Studio and other development tools
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)
- Passion for mobile development and eagerness to learn new technologies
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, debug, and maintain mobile applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define app features and functionality
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Troubleshoot issues reported by users or detected through testing
- Stay updated on emerging trends in mobile development and incorporate them into projects when appropriate
