Digital Transformation in the German Market

LBC is a strategic consultancy, digital transformation and talent development company, with experience in more than 1,200 projects in 18 countries, 17 sectors and 20 multilateral entities such as the World Bank, United Nations Development Programme, European Union, African Development Bank, among others.

The Position

To support the growth of LBC's Digital Transformation Practice into the German Market, we are recruiting a full-time Business Developer and Practice Leader in Germany, on a hybrid (office-home) basis. The person will be the manager of the German company to be registered in Germany.

We are considering two profiles:

  • A seasoned and experienced business development professional with in-depth knowledge of the supply and demand sides of the software development market in Germany.
  • A young professional of high potential, who has previously studied in Portugal, either management, marketing or software engineering.

The position will report to the Digital Transformation Practice Leader in Portugal and be coached by the CEO.

Requirements
  • MBA, Masters' degree in Management or Information Technology
  • German national with a knowledge of the German market
  • German and English speaking
  • Knowledge of software development and of the software development market
  • Relevant professional experience
  • Knowledge of Portuguese language
  • Experience in the consulting or information technology sector, preferably in international markets
  • Knowledge and experience of web development, intelligent process automation, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence
  • Proven experience in SEO strategies, Demand generation, Lead generation
Main Responsibilities
  • Analysis of LBC's service line and contribution to the definition of a 5-year strategy for the German market
  • Advice on the adequate market-entry strategy to build a trusted local practice
  • Business development on the German market and relevant area of influence
  • Identification and management of partners for the German market and for the markets where LBC has activity
  • Client management of the projects in Germany
  • P&L responsibility for the business in Germany in alignment with the Digital Transformation Practice Leader
