As a result of growth within the solution and adoption of SAP Hana in house banking/cash management the existing team will be seconded to deliver this long term project. To ensuring the continued support and maintenance of the cash and banking SAP solution we require talented and consultant comfortable working with the users to ensure the stability and continued growth / adoption of this business critical solution.

SAP Functional Consultant – C&B (FSCM) is a key role within in the domain and is responsible for a delivery of ongoing support and enhancement of the SAP ECC and S4 HANA solution. This covers all bank integration and functionality within SAP including Advanced Payment Management(APM), Multi Bank Connectivity(MBC), In House Bank(IHB) Management, Bank Communication Manger (BCM), Electronic Communication Statements (EBS), SAP Treasury & Risk Management, Automatic Payments. Working with data integration technologies (AIF/Proxy) and data from other SAP processes (FI/SD/PP, invoicing).

About The Job

Financial Accounting (SAP FI):

• General Ledger Management: Oversee both Classic and New General Ledger functionalities.
• Accounts Receivable and Payable: Ensure efficient handling and process improvements.
• Invoice Workflow Management: Optimize and maintain workflows for processing invoices.
• Sub-Ledger Integration: Facilitate seamless integration with Treasury, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
• Customizing: Configure and customize SAP FI to meet business requirements.
• Payment and Dunning Processes: Manage and enhance payment runs and dunning cycles.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports.
• Closing Activities: Conduct month-end and year-end closing tasks, including valuation, correspondence, and balance carryforward (GLT0/GLT3).

Controlling (SAP CO):

• Cost Management: Oversee cost elements and cost center accounting.
• Internal Orders and WBS Elements: Manage and analyze Work Breakdown Structures.
• Planning Activities: Support budget planning and forecasting.
• Integration: Ensure smooth interaction between Financial Accounting, Controlling, and Asset Accounting.
• Customising and Reporting: Configure the system and create meaningful reports for stakeholders.

Asset Accounting (FI-AA):

• Customising: Set up and maintain asset accounting structures.
• Periodic Activities: Oversee depreciation runs and other periodical financial tasks.
• Reporting: Generate reports related to asset lifecycle management.

Cash Management:

• Electronic Bank Statement (EBS): Manage and enhance EBS functionalities.
• Bank Communication Management (BCM): Maintain and ensure efficient use of BCM.
• Liquidity Analysis: Provide detailed reports for cash flow and liquidity management.

Development and Technical Tasks:

• Code Analysis: Read, understand, and debug SAP code when necessary.
• Validations and Substitutions: Implement and maintain validation/substitution rules for FI and FI-AA.
• Forms Development: Create and modify SAP Script, Smartforms, and Adobe Forms.
• LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench): Perform data migration activities.
• Trace Analysis: Initiate and evaluate trace processes for troubleshooting.
• Partner Agreements & RFCs: Set up and maintain partner agreements and RFC connections.
• IDoc Management: Monitor, troubleshoot, and process IDocs.
• Table Maintenance: Ensure accurate maintenance of relevant tables.

Treasury & Risk Management

• Configuration and training skills in the areas of SAP TRM-Transaction Manager, Risk Analysers, Exposure Management, Hedge Management & Accounting, In-House bank Management & Cash Management.
• Excellent understanding of treasury processes (deal creation, settlement and accounting) in the area of Money Market, Securities, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Hedge Management & Accounting, Trade finance and Debt Management.

Authorisations:

• User and Role Maintenance: Manage user accounts and roles within SAP.
• Central User Administration (CUA): Oversee CUA for centralized user management.

As a SAP Functional Consultant - Cash and Banking, your role will see you support and maintain the SAP ECC & S4 Treasury & C&B solutions as well as implement changes and roll out the solution/support project delivery into the landscape.

• You will need to have a deep understanding of SAP Cash and Banking solutions as well as treasury processes and familiarity with architecture and design of digital systems with experience of supporting and maintaining SAP solutions.
• In your role, one of your key responsibilities is to develop and maintain the SAP ECC & S4 Treasury and Cash and Banking solution, key deliverables/milestones, risks and progress are tracked.
• You will act as an IT contact for the business users, support the solution, ensuring the stability of the payments solutions.
• You will support the expansion and further development of agility within your area and the domain. You will focus on helping your team to self-organise, and to keep increasing its capabilities and autonomy.
• You will identify and actively manage impediments, assuring transparent communication on the progress, the impediments & solutions. You will excel at working with team members to achieve common goals. Where relevant, you will also take responsibility for prioritisation of work within technical teams.

About You

• Passionate about and strong knowledge of Cash & Banking Solutions delivery practices, delivering business value and driving continuous improvement.
• Proven track record in delivering Cash & Banking solutions for complex business environments.
• Strong SAP knowledge / skills within Banking & Payments processes (APP, BCM, DMEE, EBS, Banking & Payments).
• Experience with delivering SAP Cash and banking solutions and supporting these post go live.
• Good knowledge of the SAP FICO, and familiarity with SAP FSCM.
• Should have excellent understanding of treasury processes (deal creation, settlement and accounting) in the area of Money Market, Securities, Foreign Exchange, Derivatives, Hedge Management & Accounting, Trade finance and Debt Management. Good understanding of general accounting concepts and processes.
• Responsible for Designing, building, and deploying SAP-based ERP, SAP S4 HANA solutions and leading analysis and design in the SAP TRM area.
• Should have experience of SAP TRM module integration with third party systems like Bloomberg, Reuters for market data update & 360T/FxAll for FX Trading.
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies and ways of working.
• Mastery of moderation, presentation, visualisation techniques and feedback methods with good influencing skills and the ability to make yourself understood to a wide range of staff including near shore/off shore colleagues or external partners.
• High standard of professional integrity and trustworthiness.

• Great communicator, facilitator, and influencer comfortable working with a variety of technology and business stakeholders.
