Part-Time QA Engineer (Funchal, Portugal)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer to join our team in Funchal, Portugal on a part-time basis. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through testing and identifying any bugs or issues. This is an excellent opportunity for someone without prior experience in the field as we provide on-the-job training and support.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct manual and automated testing of software products to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements
  • Identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking tools
  • Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues and improve product quality
  • Write test cases, plans, and reports to document testing efforts
  • Continuously improve testing processes and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or currently pursuing)
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
  • Must have own visa to work in Portugal
