Job Description:Senior Salesforce Software Engineer Lisbon
Capgemini Portugal is currently looking for a Senior Salesforce Software Engineer to join one of the world's most prestigious and innovative companies in the luxury industry.
Our Client is the owner of prestigious Maisons distinguished by their craftsmanship, creativity, and technological innovation. Their ambition is to nurture the unique heritage and values of its Maisons and businesses, while enabling them to grow and prosper in a responsible, sustainable manner over the long term.
To leverage Lisbon's tech spirit and infuse it into its brand-new Tech Competence Centre, our Client is looking to reinforce its technical capabilities on state-of-the-art technology and respond to the growth of their business. Their Lisbon teams will be an extension of its central Group Platforms teams and will be fully integrated into the core technology workforce. They look forward to welcoming their TCC employees and onboarding them on an exciting adventure managing modern solutions and innovative technologies through global, scaled platforms to create business value with pace and agility.
Responsibilities- Propose and develop custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other programming languages and frameworks.
- Participate in the complete application life cycle from technical design, architecture, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality Salesforce solutions using coding best practices.
- Your client-centric mindset allows you to identify and recommend creative solutions to build extensions to the out-of-the-box capabilities of the platform.
- Guide the development team to a successful setup and ensure they follow the best practices.
- Communicate and collaborate with other technical resources like architects, admins, configuration experts, and stakeholders regarding status, risks, and any technical issues.
- Understand dependencies and anticipate regressions on the platform.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and give constant updates on the evolution of the development of features in the sprint.
- Ensure functional and technical health of features developed by your peers by cross-testing among the development team and being involved in all test phases.
- Help the support team troubleshoot and deliver quality solutions to bugs raised in production.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Skills & Experience- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, ideally with exposure to call center solutions.
- Salesforce certifications (Salesforce Developer 1 and 2, Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Administrator, Superbadges)
- Strong technical knowledge of Salesforce products (ability to investigate and debug issues)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodology. Experience with Jira and Confluence is suitable.
- Previous exposure to test automation technologies and best practices is a plus.
- Excellent proficiency in English.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Capacity to use emerging web technologies into live ecosystems.
- Highly self-motivated and focused.
- Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced, distributed environment with high expectations.
