We're now in search of a new #bloqstar to join us as a Production Planner, overseeing our network of manufacturing partners for Bloq.it smart locker solutions. This role requires managing end-to-end manufacturing processes through our network of suppliers, ensuring adherence, and maintaining up-to-date data and documentation. The ideal candidate is a proactive production planner experienced in scaling both hardware and software operations.

What Will Be Your Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational plans involving multiple partners to ensure on-time delivery for all projects;
  • Translate demand needs into short and long term production plans for all suppliers;
  • Regularly liaise with external suppliers to ensure that the production plan is being met;
  • Monitor and optimize supplier's manufacturing processes to meet quality standards and efficiency targets;
  • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders to provide updates on operational progress and delivery timelines, highlighting risks and deviations;
  • Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to ensure timely availability of materials and components and with Logistics team to ensure on-time delivery of both components and lockers while minimizing cost and reducing lead-times;
  • Track and manage inventory levels to ensure availability for manufacturing activities at our network of suppliers;
  • Collaborate closely with sales, customer support, and engineering teams to align delivery schedules with customer orders and expectations.

What are the requirements to join us in this position
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus;
  • Proven experience in production management, supply chain, or logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or technology-related industry;
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail;
  • High analytical skills;
  • A can do attitude and not be afraid to roll up the sleeves to get stuff done;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken);
  • Proficiency in using manufacturing and operational planning and supply chain management software;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment that is constantly changing and adapting;
  • Familiarity with Excel, ERP solutions, Lean Manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and prior experience in startups or big-tech environments are all a plus.

Extra Valued Skills
  • Experience with Oddo is a plus;
  • Experience with batch and serial number definition and control is a plus.
