We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Senior Architect to join our dynamic team in Lisbon As a Senior Architect you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of architectural projects from conception to completion The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the field strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
Responsibilities
- - Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and develop design solutions
- - Develop and present project proposals including budget estimates and timelines
- - Oversee the preparation of architectural drawings and specifications
- - Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design plans and building codes
- - Manage project teams including architects engineers and contractors
- - Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints
- - Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status
- - Review and approve contractor bids and invoices
- - Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to relevant regulations
Requirements
- - Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited university
- - At least 5 years of experience working as an architect on a variety of projects
- - Strong knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD SketchUp or Revit
- - Proven track record of successfully managing architectural projects from conception to completion
- - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- - Ability to work collaboratively with clients team members and other stakeholders
- - Experience working on international projects is preferred
- - Must be eligible for visa sponsorship if not already authorized to work in Portugal
Salary
This is a contract position with a salary of $1100 per month Exact compensation will be based on the candidates qualifications
Location
The position is located in Lisbon Portugal
Candidates who are not currently located in Lisbon must be willing to relocate at their own expense
