We are looking for a Customer Service Officer (Legal Assistant Profile).

MAIN TASKS:

  • Analyze the documentation provided by clients (i.e. verification of signatures, identification of persons; and certify that all documentation is attained in accordance with Banco de Portugal's legislation and with the Group procedures).
  • Opening of new accounts/sub-accounts and document, in dedicated tools, the authorized signatories and their respective delimitation of powers according to the signing instruction provided by clients.
  • Ensure the updates of client details, add/remove authorized signatories further to clients' instructions.
  • Close of clients' accounts following the group procedures.
  • Report to the Banco de Portugal/Central Bank on a daily basis the list of individuals provided by the fiscal authorities (i.e. pledge accounts).

YOUR PROFILE AND SKILLS:

  • University degree, preferably in Law / Regulation / Economics/ Management.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
  • Rigorous, attention to detail and risk aware.
  • Strongly committed and collaborative mind-set.
  • Team player.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Hybrid role – 40% at the office, 60% remote based in Lisbon.
