About the Opportunity

Please note, this role is a temporary role from December until August.

As a Front Desk Associate, you'll be the heart and "face" of WeWork's hospitality team as the primary point of contact for our members and guests Your work will help WeWork to:

  1. Create a welcoming community environment for our members and guests.
  2. Make members and guests feel known and cared for.
  3. Support the Community Management team with maintaining front desk operations.
  4. Ensure the building is fully operational.
  5. Take direction from the Community Associate, Community Lead, and Community Manager.
  6. Be an expert in WeWork products and services.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the following areas:

Front Desk Management
  1. Greet all members and guests with a warm demeanor.
  2. Cover the front desk during business hours.
  3. Ensure visiting guests are registered and checked in.
  4. Provide orientation to ensure all first-time visitors feel welcome.
  5. Support with issuing and collecting keys as needed.
  6. Keep the front desk clean and organized.
  7. Notify members of any food deliveries and packages.
Member Engagement
  1. Learn the names of members and guests.
  2. Keep track of relevant member notes in WeWork systems.
  3. Answer questions knowledgeably.
  4. Identify opportunities to celebrate members' successes.
  5. Know and recommend local services.
Building Operations and Management
  1. Assist with handling mail and packages.
  2. Monitor how our spaces feel and make adjustments.
  3. Help maintain building amenities.
  4. Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly.

About You

  1. Fluent in Portuguese.
  2. You're a people-person who enjoys meeting new people.
  3. You have outstanding interpersonal skills.
  4. You feel comfortable being the face of the brand.
  5. You work well in a team.
  6. You're able to multitask while prioritizing the member experience.
  7. You've worked in hospitality/retail or customer service before (not required).
  8. You have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  9. You are proficient in basic computer skills.
  10. You demonstrate integrity, dependability, and compassion.
  11. You show a passion for WeWork's mission and values.
  12. A secondary school certificate is preferred but not required.
