What You'll Be Doing:- Moderate content (texts, images, videos) in German, ensuring compliance with community guidelines, standards, and legal requirements.
- Identify and remove harmful content such as hate speech, harassment, explicit material, and spam to maintain a positive user experience.
- Make clear, fair, and consistent decisions to ensure content meets the platform's guidelines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex content issues and improve moderation processes.
- Keep up with trends in online content and challenges in the moderation world to continuously improve our approach.
- Meet efficiency goals while ensuring moderation quality and accuracy.
- Fluency in German (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Good command of English (for internal communication and collaboration).
- Previous experience in content moderation, community management, or customer service is a bonus.
- Attention to detail and the ability to make quick, accurate decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of online safety practices, community guidelines, and internet security.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a passion for keeping the internet clean and safe.
- Experience with content moderation tools or platforms.
- Knowledge of social media trends and internet culture.
- A background in compliance, legal, or media industries is a plus.
