Overview
A reputable manufacturing company in Almada is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various machines and equipment including but not limited to lathes, drill presses and milling machines. This is a contract position with the potential for permanent employment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machines according to specifications
- Monitor machines during operation to ensure smooth and efficient production
- Inspect parts for quality control and make necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during production
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
- Familiarity with different types of machines and their functions
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
Salary
We are offering a competitive salary of $1300 per month for this position.
