As an Entry-Level Mason you will be responsible for assisting a skilled mason in constructing and repairing structures made of brick concrete and other materials This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to start their career in the construction industry
Responsibilities
- Assist the skilled mason in laying bricks and other building materials according to blueprints or specifications
- Mix mortar and concrete using various tools and equipment
- Carry materials to work area and clean up debris after completing tasks
- Use hand and power tools to cut or shape materials as needed
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No prior experience required but some knowledge of construction or masonry is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in all weather conditions
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity
- Willingness to learn and take direction from more experienced workers
Salary Starting salary for this position is 1400$ with potential for increase based on performance
Location This job is located in Braga Portugal
Candidates must already have a valid visa to work in Portugal
