We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a part-time employee, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's network and computer systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the field of network and systems administration.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Manage and maintain computer systems, including hardware, software, and operating systems
- Ensure the security of all network and system resources
- Install, configure, and update network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
- Conduct regular backups of data to prevent data loss
- Provide technical support to employees regarding network and system issues
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in network and system administration
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience working as a Network and Systems Administrator
- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), routing protocols (BGP), firewall technologies (Cisco ASA), etc.
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus)
Salary: This is a part-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month.
