Build the mobile apps of a major European insurance group, inside an Agile squad.
Lisbon-based opportunity with a hybrid work model.
As a Mobile Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading insurance group within a major European banking group. You will join one of the Agile squads working on its digital channels, where you will develop mobile app features from the requirement stage through to delivery, working closely with the Product Owner and Business Analysts.
Your main responsibilities:
- Understand and take ownership of requirements so that they are delivered correctly
- Develop mobile application features that meet business, application and technical requirements
- Help the PO and BA write acceptance criteria
- Help prioritise user stories, for example when a technical need has to be addressed before a feature
- Document the user stories you deliver
- Take part in all the team's Agile ceremonies and follow the Definition of Done
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- 2+ years of hands-on mobile application development
- Experience with native development (iOS/Swift or Android/Kotlin) or with a cross-platform framework (Flutter, React Native or similar)
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team with user stories and acceptance criteria
- Familiarity with Git, code reviews and CI/CD pipelines
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Working knowledge of French
Eligibility for the role: Only candidates who are currently based in Portugal and have an existing legal right to work in the European Union will be considered for this role.
