What you will do

You will be joining our Global Commercial Operations – Digital, Technology and Innovation capability team. This young and dynamic team, focusing on the ELMAC Region (including Europe, Latin America, Canada and Africa), is responsible to support technology roadmap development in a different business value streams in organization.

What we expect of you

As a Junior Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating Agile practices, ensuring effective sprint planning, execution, and delivery of features, improvements, validations, and data integration that drive value for our business users. In this role, you will empower your team to achieve its goals, leveraging your skills to foster collaboration and efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile events such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, demos, and backlog refinement sessions to support effective team collaboration.

  • Support and coach the team in the adoption and day-to-day application of Agile and Scrum principles, practices, and ceremonies.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain a refined and prioritized backlog, helping ensure Sprint work supports agreed business priorities.

  • Identify, track, and help remove team impediments; escape risks, blockers, and cross-Team dependencies when needed.

  • Promote continuous improvement by facilitating retrospectives and supporting the adoption of Agile engineering and DevOps practices within the team.

  • Monitor and report on the progress of the Team ensuring transparency and alignment with Sprint goals and Team objectives.

  • Help the scrum teams achieve delivery acceleration focused on business outcomes by reaching higher levels of scrum maturity.

  • Support scaling Agile by engaging in cross-team ceremonies and Program Increment (PI) planning to align team activities with Agile Release Train (ART) objectives.

Experience:

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience

Functional Skills:

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies particularly the Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex challenges with data

Preferred skills:

  • Certified Scrum Master or SAFe Scrum Master or similar (preferred)

  • Certified SAFe Practitioner (preferred)

  • Prior experience with Agile project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence (preferred)

  • Experience in guiding teams through Agile events and ensuring adherence to agreed practices and behaviors (preferred)

  • Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection and other Scrum Techniques (preferred)

  • Collaborative spirit and effective communication skills to work seamlessly in a cross-functional team (preferred)

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and compliance requirements. (preferred)

  • Desirable familiarity with security monitoring processes, including log collection, event correlation, and alert management. (preferred)

  • Desirable knowledge of SIEM tools and security event analysis. (preferred)

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and solve skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills (English) in translating technology content into business-language at various levels

  • Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams
