Junior Developer (Entry Level)
We are a dynamic and innovative tech company based in Almada, seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Developer to join our team. This is a full-time position with competitive salary of 1700$. As an Entry Level Developer, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of our software products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with limited experience looking to kick-start their career in the tech industry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and maintain software applications
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code improvements
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals
- Experience with at least one programming language (e.g. Java, C++, Python)
- Familiarity with web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or work experience in a software development role
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of database management systems (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
