We are looking for an experienced Production Support Engineer to join a leading banking organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of critical production environments, supporting RUN operations, incident management, monitoring activities, and continuous improvement initiatives across complex infrastructure and application landscapes.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of production environments.
  • Monitor and manage batch workflows, schedules, and production processing activities.
  • Provide Level 2 support, troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate escalations.
  • Manage file transfer operations and resolve transfer-related incidents.
  • Support production releases, deployments, changes, and operational interventions.
  • Monitor infrastructure and application performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
  • Maintain operational documentation, procedures, runbooks, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with AppOps, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Development teams to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Contribute to automation, observability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in on-call activities after the onboarding period.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in Production Support / RUN Operations, including batch scheduling and monitoring with Control-M and VTOM, incident management, troubleshooting, SLA monitoring, and release support.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux and Windows environments, shell scripting, networking fundamentals, middleware administration, and application deployments using technologies such as Tomcat, Apache, JDBC, JNDI, JMS, LDAP, and Keycloak.
  • Hands-on experience with file transfer and operational platforms, including Axway CFT, OpenSSH, XDI, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, Zabbix, or Carine.
  • Familiarity with DevOps and automation practices using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, and observability best practices.
  • Knowledge of ITIL v4 and experience working in Agile environments.
  • Strong communication, reporting, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within business-critical production environments.
