VectorB2B is a private association formed between Portuguese private and public partners, with the aim to gather the scattered capacities of the academic and industrial shareholders in the sector of health biotechnology. VectorB2B aims to provide integrated services in drug discovery and screening, project design and implementation, clinical contract research and contract manufacturing.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, coordination, budgeting, and stakeholder management, ensuring the successful execution of clinical and research projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and establish success criteria with stakeholders.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring milestones and objectives are met.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, fostering effective collaboration.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with sponsors, investigators, ethics committees, and vendors.
  • Present project progress reports and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all project aspects, including protocols, reports, and regulatory documents.
  • Guarantee timely and accurate submission of all required documentation.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and financial accountability.
  • Monitor and control project expenses, providing forecasts and justifications for budget variances.
  • Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project efficiency and success.
  • Analyze project performance metrics such as schedule adherence, budget variance, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Mandatory Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing clinical trials or research projects.
  • Strong background in budget management and financial forecasting.
