YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a PL/SQL Developer to join our teams in Lisbon.

In This Role You Will Be Responsible For

  1. Design, develop and implement database solutions using the PL/SQL language and the Informix database.
  2. Collaborate with software development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
  3. Develop and optimize stored procedures, functions, and triggers in PL/SQL to support system operations.
  4. Perform data modeling and query optimization to ensure database performance and scalability.
  5. Manage and maintain the integrity, security, and availability of Informix databases.
  6. Provide technical support and troubleshoot database-related problems to ensure continuous systems availability.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration between the database and application systems.
YOUR PROFILE

  1. Proven experience in database development using PL/SQL.
  2. Practical experience with the Informix database.
  3. Solid knowledge of data modeling and query optimization.
  4. Ability to translate business requirements into effective database solutions.
  5. Degree in Computer Science or similar.
  6. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
