We are now looking for a motivated and energetic Software Engineering Quality Specialist As a Software Engineering Quality Specialist, you will assist Critical Software in adhering to quality management international standard and fulfilling our customer quality requirements in an agile and highly efficient manner. You will foster collaboration between departments to exchange quality management practices and stimulate continuous improvement. Your skills in software development lifecycles, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement will enable Critical Software to maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction in demanding and diverse markets such as Aviation, Space, Railway or Finance. that we've been looking for? What do we expect from you? Develop and continuously enhance our software engineering quality processes and procedures to ensure our software engineering projects adhere to high quality standards in a highly efficient way. Ensure that our software development processes comply with industry standards in a wide range of verticals, from Aviation, Railway, Medical Devices or Finance, amongst others. Develop and maintain documentation of quality processes and procedures and well as regular quality reporting and dashboards. Work closely with developers, testers, project managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure, in an agile way, that quality standards are met throughout the project and software development lifecycle. Make recommendations for process improvements and implement best practices designed to improve efficiency and software quality in our projects. Foster a culture of quality in our projects, particularly related with software engineering. Provide direction in quality practices, promoting efficient and agile best practices across the organization. Plan and support the execution of internal and external audits of our Quality Management System. Review audit findings and support the definition and implementation of audit remediation plans that bring value to the projects. Act as a central point for quality-related knowledge, sharing insights and best practices with other teams and departments. Develop, track, and analyse software engineering metrics and other process KPIs to measure and improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of software development and engineering management processes. What makes you a good candidate for this role? Experience in software quality assurance, preferably in safety and mission-critical environments. Strong understanding of software development processes, software project management, verification and validation, and related areas. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues. Proven experience in leading quality related initiatives, with strong communication and collaboration skills. High attention to detail to ensure all aspects of software quality are thoroughly examined. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to software engineering and safety critical systems (e.g., ISO 9000, ISO/IEC 12207, EN 50716). Familiarity with CMMI-DEV practices in agile environments and preferably experience in implementing and maintaining these standards. Strong experience in developing, tracking, and analysing software engineering metrics and KPIs to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business goals. What can you expect from us?
