Sports Coordinator

Details – Hospitality, Sports, Leisure is the platform responsible for managing the Hospitality, Sports, and Leisure areas of Arrow Global in Portugal. It oversees the management of major hotel units located in Vilamoura, Carvoeiro, Lagos, Albufeira, Aroeira, and Madeira, as well as golf courses and equestrian centers.

The Sports Coordinator supports the Sports Manager and Director of Sport in planning, coordinating, and executing sports-related activities and initiatives. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, tracks project timelines, and maintains communication with various stakeholders. The Sports Coordinator will report directly to the Director of Sport and work closely with internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities Coordinate the logistics and administrative tasks of sports events and facility projects. Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day project updates and queries. Track project progress, monitor deadlines, and provide regular reports to the Director of Sports, ensuring alignment with key operational goals. Assist in managing partnerships and sponsor relationships, ensuring all commitments are met within the different projects. Organize meetings, prepare agendas, and document minutes to ensure stakeholders across diverse areas remain aligned. Collaborate with external consultants, agencies, and contractors to support project goals.

Key Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in a coordination or administrative role, preferably in sports or events. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. English is a must.
