The Pool Bar's menu offers a good selection of food, drinks and Lisbon-inspired cocktails.Our opportunity:We are looking for a Reservations Manager to join our Team in LisbonWhy to join our Team:You will be part of a talented Family and Unique Culture;You will have the opportunity to be you, to show your skills and passion for flawless service;You will have a wide range of career growth opportunities within Four Seasons hotel chain;You will be rewarded with a competitive salary and advantages.What will be your main responsibilities and duties:Manage the day to day operation of the reservations department (function as resource for reservations sales agents; handle reservations sales calls; problem and conflict resolution; scheduling); Operate and manage a Property Management System;Control rooms and rate availability in accordance with established guidelines to maximize occupancy and revenue; Coordinate group inventory and allocations with the Director of Sales and/or Director of Marketing, develop and implement policies and procedures pertaining to the revenue management of reservations function; Produce, analyze the following reports and recommend appropriate action to maximize revenue: Daily/Weekly Occupancy Reports.
Assist the Director of Revenue with the following: budgeting; yield strategy; forecasting and rate discussions;Assist the Director of Revenue with the production and publishing of the monthly analysis/report summarizing the month end reservations activity; Establish and/or manage the following: Published, Package and Negotiated Rate Strategy Tiers, Segment Ceilings based on historical and current demand, incentive plans/program for Reservations agents and managers, Rate/Yield Strategy Worksheet, Rate/Yield Strategy within PMS, Front Desk Upsell program, Front Desk Perfect Fill Program; Maintain favorable working relationships among employees to promote maximum morale, productivity and efficiency;Provide ongoing accurate and timely performance feedback/ conduct annual reviews.
Display a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times in all dealing with guests and employees; Participate/Conduct/Attend scheduled departmental and Administrative meetings as requested; Yield, Forecast, Department, Pre-Con's, Board of Operations.
Essential Requirements:College education or equivalent experience;One to three years experience in a rooms division management;Excellent communication and organization skills;Previous customer experience and ability to work effectively under pressure;Proficient computer skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office products, Opera, Salesforce and other programs as needed;The candidate must hold the required authorization to work in an European country;Reading, writing and oral proficiency both in Portuguese and English.We are looking for people who share the Golden Rule: people who by nature, believe in treating others as we would have them treat us.
