The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products (Mobile, Web) through comprehensive manual testing processes.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to identify, document, and track defects, as well as suggest improvements for overall product quality.Key Responsibilities1.
Test Planning and Design:- Collaborate with product and development teams to understand product requirements and design test plans and test cases.- Develop and maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.2.
Test Execution:- Perform manual testing on various platforms, including web and mobile applications.- Execute test cases and report defects using bug tracking tools.- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.3.
Defect Management:- Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate bug-tracking systems.- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.- Verify defect fixes and perform regression testing.4.
Collaboration and Communication:- Communicate test results, progress, and issues with the project team and stakeholders.- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.5.
Continuous Improvement:- Suggest and implement improvements in the QA process and methodologies.- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing.Required Qualifications3-5 years of experience in manual software testing.Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.Proficiency in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.Experience with bug tracking tools (e.G., JIRA).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
