We're currently seeking a skilled Animator/Rigger who is passionate about bringing characters and environments to life in our games.
Role Overview:The Animator/Rigger will be instrumental in creating fluid, expressive animations and setting up rigs for characters and other assets. This role requires a unique blend of artistic talent and technical skills to ensure animations are not only visually appealing but also technically sound within the game's engine.
Key Responsibilities:Create and maintain high-quality animations for characters, creatures, and in-game objects.
Develop, test, and refine rigs, ensuring that they meet the technical requirements of the project.
Work closely with modelers and character artists to ensure that assets are optimized for animation.
Collaborate with game designers and developers to integrate animations that enhance gameplay and storytelling.
Utilize and adapt existing motion capture data as well as animate manually to achieve realistic and compelling motion.
Troubleshoot and solve animation and rigging issues during development phases.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies in animation and rigging.
Ideal Candidate:Degree in Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in animation and rigging in the gaming industry.
Strong proficiency with animation software such as Autodesk Maya, 3DS Max, or similar.
Experience with Unreal Engine's animation and rigging tools.
A solid understanding of body mechanics and traditional animation principles.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
