Our team is passionate about transforming the healthcare sector and committed to accelerating access to EV-based technologies. As we expand our team, we are seeking a highly motivated Junior Scientist to contribute to our research and development efforts.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Junior Scientist, preferably with a background in extracellular vesicles (EV), to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative EV-based products and technologies.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Actively contribute to ongoing research projects, with experimental design, hands-on bench work, and data analysis.
Conduct routine laboratory tests, according to established protocols.
Carefully document and report experimental details and results.
Assist in lab management tasks, such as consumable inventory and purchase.
Keep updated on current literature and developments in the field.
Communicate research findings and progress in regular team meetings, presentations, and written reports.
Participate in relevant professional development opportunities, such as conferences, workshops, or training programs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry), or MSc with at least 5 years of experience.
Experience or strong interest in extracellular vesicle (EV) research.
Demonstrated experience in in vitro and molecular biology work (e.g., qPCR, WB, histochemistry, flow cytometry)
Ability to adapt to multiple projects, with changing research priorities and experimental requirements.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.
Proactive and self-motivated, demonstrating initiative in addressing research challenges.
Adherence to high ethical standards in research and scientific conduct.
Good communication skills in Portuguese and/or English.
