This is a senior-level role, ideal for someone with 3 to 4 years of experience gained in a top-tier accounting or auditing firm (Big Four) and looking to take the next step in their career.
The role will involve overseeing and managing financial reporting within the bank, while also coordinating with our parent group in China.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial strategy and performance of a major Banking Group with international operations.Job descriptionParticipate in the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with both local regulations and international accounting standards.Coordinate and consolidate financial reporting for both the Portuguese headquarters and for the parent group in China, ensuring compliance with group policies and international financial standards.Maintain and improve financial controls, procedures, and systems to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.Collaborate with other departments to align financial reporting with the bank's broader strategic objectives.Supervise and guide junior finance staff, fostering professional development within the team.Provide detailed financial analysis and insights into the bank's performance, supporting senior management.ProfileBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or ACCA are highly valued)
