Our client is based in France and it has a work focus on exploiting unused surfaces by installing solar panels and
exploiting the potential of green and local energy. The Company is characterized as an ESCO - Energy Services Company
that offers solutions for reduction, conservation, infrastructure proposals, and energy generation and supply.
Location: Oeiras, Portugal
General Description:We are hiring a Senior Project Engineer who will be part of a team of professionals with experience in the photovoltaic
sector and a business background in the area of renewable energy, solar PV, energy efficiency and electrical
engineering. Under the responsibility of the Country Manager and collaborating with the PV engineering team mainly
in Spain and France, you will support GreenYellow development and realization of Solar PV projects in Portugal.
Missions:
• Pre-Sales: support sales teams in Europe to build solid and competitive offers for PV solutions (PPA – Power Purchase Agreement / Solar as a Service).
• Project in construction: follow up EPC, construction and O&M contracts and validate quality.
• Project in operation: analyse PV electricity production if required (Performance Ratio and other KPI…)
Main Accountabilities:
• Lead and realize pre-studies for PV projects (mainly auto-consumption but could also include grid injection
and storage) in accordance with the constraints and obligations of the country (administrative, legal,
applicable technical standards…), including:
o PV plant sizing and layout drawing,
o Required electrical network analysis (connection point, transformers, cabinets, rooting, …)
o Technical construction constraints analysis (in particular for rooftop PV),
• Research and identification of competent local partners.
• Participate in calls for tenders and consultations of companies.
• Perform site visits in Portugal and other Europe countries.
• Liaise with other GreenYellow PV project engineers to share best practices.
• Manage the technical aspects of the projects: construction contract follow-up (mainly EPC) and potentially
some detailed study/ supplier consultation. Technical and economic validation of the project.
• Ensure the interface with the client's management and technical services for each project.
• Ensure PV plant full commissioning: follow and validate plant commissioning with the EPC engineer

You will benefit from the support of GY's centralized services: purchasing, you will be trained in GY methods
and tools. In particular, you will be trained in GreenYellow PV sizing methods with experienced engineers.
You will be able to rely on external and internal resources made available for the success of your projects.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor and/or MS in the energy, electrical or industrial field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical Solar PV environment.
Autonomy in project management.
Good technical understanding of PV technology, and rooftop PV knowledge will be considered a plus.
Knowledge of design software: AutoCAD, PVsyst, MS Excel.
Good English proficiency, French and other language will be a plus.
Strong interest in energy transition.
