We are an innovative IT services provider with a customer base primarily located in Europe, the USA, China and Hong Kong. We work on a range of innovative IT solutions platforms.
For our branch office, JAVRA Software in Lisbon, we are seeking a creative and innovative Software Engineer PHP. You will be working on a variety of internal and external projects, which may vary in complexity and challenge.
In this role, you will work on a hybrid basis, spending three days at our office and two days working remotely.
Our office is located in Restelo Business Center in Lisbon.
ResponsibilitiesWhat we expect from you: The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of PHP and be familiar with programming fundamentals.The ideal candidate will also have experience with the Symfony or Laravel framework.Experience with Pimcore would be an advantage.Demonstrates proficiency in the development and integration of application programming interfaces (APIs) and web services.A comprehensive grasp of the software development life cycle and best practices.Demonstrable expertise in front-end technologies.Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of object-oriented programming.Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):Enhance and support the current set of core PHP Laravel and PIMCore/Symfony projects.Actively contribute to the development of new applications, customisations and solutions.Work independently or as part of a team, and you will make a positive impact.Take ownership of technical solutions from the initial concept through to final delivery.What's in there for youYou will be integrated into a young and friendly team with the possibility to work on projects for big international clients.Salary according to your experience.Big opportunities to grow in the company.RequirementsAble to multitask and focus on deadlines under pressure.Familiar with programming fundamentals.Team player.Passionate about new technology.Qualifications:Bachelor's in computer science, IT, software engineering, web development, programming, or other subjects.2 years' experience with PHP development (mandatory).Fluent in spoken and written English.How to apply?To apply for this position, send your CV and a cover letter to ******
