About the role You will help in Business as Usual (BAU) of an operations team (ITIL L1 to L3), with a focus on automation process and ticket journey. You will help the remaining operations team to ensure stability and system availability according to the agreed service levels.
As part of the operations team, you will maintain and upgrade existing system applications and configurations assuring that deployment activities are well orchestrated and follow all the necessary steps to ensure the proper deployment procedures and do not create any issues on the system stability (Pre-Prod and Prod).
Help the operations team to create automation of day-to-day activities (User Management, Infrastructure management) and bug fixing in applications and existent scripts.
As a part of your job, you will: Conduct the daily troubleshooting, solution monitoring & analysis activities to assure solutions stability, availability, and performance Create, update, and maintain the system configurations and parametrizations to assure the environment stability and deliver it as part of Agile methodology Assure daily checks and activities to ensure a correct environment application management strategy Assure operations tasks that contribute to planned and unplanned releases (including hot-fix deployments) Hands-on ability to automate repeated operations tasks What are we looking for? Knowledge of Terraform, write, update and run terraform. Knowledge of Cloud DevOps Solutions and Services (preferable in AWS) Knowledge of Linux Operations systems (RHEL/CentOS/Amazon Linux preferably) (experience will be a plus) Basic knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ansible) (knowledge of implementing scripts will be a plus) Knowledge of AWS Resources: AWS EC2, RDS, Cloud Watch, S3, Lambda, IAM, EKS, DynamoDB, API Gateway (Experience using and implementing this resources will be a plus) Knowledge of DevOps Tooling: Docker, GitLab, GitLab CI, Terraform, PostgreSQL, IAM, Redis Basic Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines using GitLab, GitLab CI Network skills TCP Protocols, DNS, Routing, NAT, Firewall, VPN Understanding of the functioning of a production systems operation - ticketing tools, escalation processes, communication with external stakeholders, etc. Nice to have: Infrastructure deployment and Management Infrastructure Monitoring System Monitoring, metrics, and analysis Network and System Security Google Apigee Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, Elastic Search Programming languages (Java, Python, Golang) Knowledge of ITIL structure (as an asset) Personal traits Self-motivated and ability to adapt in a demanding multicultural environment Fluent in English both verbal and written Ability to easily acquire new technology knowledge Problem solver, think out of the box Ease of interpersonal relations and a taste for teamwork Ability to rapidly adapt to changes Learning Attitude: Willingness to learn new tools and technologies, as DevOps is an evolving field What we are looking for: Interest in programming (also in brainstorming, creating, suggesting and building) Less than 1 year of effective experience in IT - This is a Celfocus Academy Opportunity Eagerness to learn Ability to adapt to different contexts, teams and Clients Teamwork skills but also sense of autonomy Motivation for international projects and ok if travel is included Curiosity Did we mention eagerness to learn?
