The Opportunity We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Design Lead to join our dynamic team of designers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX design, and a passion for online gaming, specifically poker. As the Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading the design efforts of our platform, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing experience for our global crypto poker audience. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement high-quality product design strategies that align with CoinPoker's brand. Design engaging product assets and interfaces with high usability and satisfaction within our brand guidelines. Break down a design brief, then plan and choose the best visual elements (colour, font, visual hierarchy, etc) for the design of our poker platform. Work closely with our Product Owner, UX Researcher, and marketing teams to create cohesive and engaging designs. Compare our competitors and analyse what works while considering how to improve to create a better user experience for our playing audience. Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to ensure seamless handoff and a cohesive user experience. Clearly explain your design choices and solutions during internal reviews. What are we looking for? 5 years of Design experience, with proven experience in a Lead or Senior role, with a portfolio demonstrating strong visual and interaction design skills. Experience working on a B2C product, ideally across web and mobile. Able to work with a high degree of autonomy, reporting directly to the CEO. Solid understanding of UI design principles, responsive design and best practice across different platform, app, website and dashboard. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Impressive UI design skills that balance usability and delight. Expert knowledge in design software, especially Figma (design and prototype). Knowledge of poker or casino games would be beneficial.
