This offering is complemented by a rapidly growing, broad range of services in the areas of consulting, implementation, training and support. For our office in Tagus Space (Tagus Park, Portugal), we are looking for you as a  Senior Java Application Developer  YOUR CONTRIBUTION We are a development team consisting of 15 passionate developers of all ages, partly in Portugal, partly in Switzerland. We accompany our applications along the entire product life cycle. Our Spring-based server and our Java-based desktop client combine state-of-the-art technologies and tools. We are looking for an experienced, motivated and communicative senior software developer to join our self-organised agile team. You'll bring your strong Java Spring knowledge to help us further modernise our products. You'll learn complex customer requirements in the financial sector and design effective solutions for which you take joint responsibility. 
Analysis, specification, implementation and testing of new functions and modules in Java. Close cooperation with other development teams on-site and headquarters, the business analysis and with software consultants for the development of solutions Advising the business department on feasibility, variants and forming opinions Error analysis and maintenance of existing software parts, support of the operation at our customers within the scope of third-level support Carrying out code and design reviews together with team colleagues Supporting our consultants in Switzerland, Frankfurt and Luxembourg with the roll-out of changes at our customers' sites YOUR EXPERTISE 10+ years of experience as a software engineer of server applications (Java, Spring, REST) Good knowledge on Spring (Framework, Boot, Data, Cloud, Security, etc.) within a large enterprise solution Eager to learn the business domain in the fund and asset management industry Passion for producing high quality-assured and production-ready code Team player with agile mindset and living the agile values Good knowledge of English.  Broad knowledge of development tools and of tools and libraries in the Java environment (Git, GitLab, Gradle, SQL, etc.) Basic knowledge on containerization technologies as Docker, Podman, Compose Basic knowledge on Bash scripting would be a plus University degree in computer science or business informatics or equivalent experience in software development WE OFFER Flexible working hours, ergonomic standing-desks and Home-Office regulation Competent, collegial teams and specialist departments with many years of experience Flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes Room for personal initiative and creativity in an open, entrepreneurial working environment Support for training and further education A modern development environment with full Continuous Integration with GitLab, Eclipse IDE, Git, Code Reviews, etc. Attractive events APPLY NOW We look forward to receive your application
