Title and Summary Motion Designer
Overview The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow. Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, this team provides consulting, marketing, loyalty and analytics to financial institutions and merchants globally. The Advisors Creative Desk sits within D&S and is responsible for ideating and creating engaging, forward-thinking, on-brand content solutions that connect our advertising partners, platforms, and our portfolio of brands.

The Role Conceptualize, design, and produce motion graphics, animations, and video content for digital campaigns, social media, websites, presentations, and other marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop visual concepts, storyboards, and animatics that effectively communicate key messages, brand narratives, and marketing objectives.
Use animation techniques, visual effects, and motion design principles to enhance storytelling, evoke emotions, and captivate audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
Work closely with designers, art directors, and copywriters to ensure seamless integration of motion graphics and animations into overall creative concepts and campaigns.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in motion design, animation, and video production to drive innovation and elevate Mastercard's creative work.
Participate in brainstorming sessions, design critiques, and cross-functional meetings to contribute ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate on creative projects.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and revisions effectively to ensure timely completion of high-quality motion graphics and video content by meeting deadlines.
Seek innovative solutions.
Collaborate with external production partners, vendors, and agencies as needed to support the execution of motion design projects and campaigns.
Maintain and troubleshoot video equipment.
Have an understanding of participating in live event and studio production, including setting a stage, lighting a set, and shooting footage w/video or still camera.
All about you Bachelor's degree in Motion Design, Animation, Graphic Design, Film, or related field.
Min 5 years of experience in motion design, animation, or video production, or advertising agencies with a strong portfolio showcasing your creativity.
Proficiency in motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator, and Photoshop and in at least one 3D motion design tool such as Cinema 4D or similar.
Solid understanding of design principles, animation principles, timing, and pacing.
Strong conceptual thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate ideas into visually compelling motion graphics and animations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Passion for creativity, storytelling, and visual communication, with a desire to push boundaries and innovate in motion design.
Collaborative mindset and effective communication skills.
Language: Professional in English, any other relevant European language, local language is a plus.
