Job Title: SQL Application Production SupportWe are looking for an experienced individual to join our team as a SQL Application Production Support specialist.
Responsibilities:Support the business in their IT needs and understand the business workflows and scenarios.Maintain proper coverage in designated shifts.Pick up work and tasks voluntarily as received via email, tickets, or in person.Provide updates on issues/tasks/projects to business, team members, and partnering teams.Document and train other team members.Shadow other team members and seek to learn to improve day-to-day platform coverage.Share knowledge within the team and document issues/incidents for better follow-up.Improve day-to-day tasks by writing scripts and automating procedure-oriented tasks.Understand underlying issues and associated patch fixes/releases, and identify systemic issues.Be available to work during holidays/weekends as per pre-defined needs and on a rotational basis with the rest of the team.Requirements:Good knowledge and capabilities in scripting languages, network, Windows, and Linux environments.Mandatory Oracle SQL knowledge.Oracle WebLogic knowledge is a plus.ITIL understanding is also a plus.Ansible knowledge.Good relational qualities – good communication.Accuracy, reactivity & proactivity, autonomy, and curiosity.Interest to learn the business.Team Spirit.Client focus.Fluency in English.About Decskill:Our practice results in creating value for our customers by delivering qualified and value-added services, highly qualified and motivated professionals, and technology solutions that allow us to operate and transform the business of our customers.
