Job Overview: As the Drone Swarm AI Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in designing, developing, and deploying AI algorithms that enable coordinated behavior and autonomous decision-making in swarms of drones. You will oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle, from conceptualization to implementation and testing, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI, machine learning, and robotics, with specific experience in swarm intelligence and multi-agent systems. Your Responsibilities: Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of drone swarm AI projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. Algorithm Development: Design and develop advanced AI algorithms for swarm intelligence, enabling drones to communicate, collaborate, and perform tasks autonomously. Simulation and Testing: Create and utilize simulation environments to test and validate swarm behaviors. Real-Time Processing: Implement real-time data processing and decision-making algorithms. System Integration: Integrate AI algorithms with drone hardware and software systems. Optimization: Optimize swarm algorithms for performance, scalability, and energy efficiency. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions. Research and Innovation: Stay current with advancements in AI and swarm robotics. Documentation: Ensure comprehensive documentation of algorithms and system configurations. Field Testing: Conduct field tests and demonstrations to evaluate performance. Profile and Requirements: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A PhD is a plus. Experience: 5+ years in AI, machine learning, robotics, or related fields, with specific experience in swarm intelligence.
