Introduction – About the role The Google Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions for internal and external customers. The ideal candidate will have experience with a variety of GCP services, including Compute Engine, App Engine, and Cloud Storage. Your Benefits A competitive remuneration package including extended fringe benefits.Being part of the local Wipro South Europe family and also supported by 260.000 enthusiast colleagues spread over the 6 continents.A state-of-the-art training platform so you can grow and become the best version of yourself;A dynamic working environment with room for personal developmentA career path within a global leading Technology firmAt Wipro we find it important that you have a good work life balance so homeworking, working at the HQYour Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain GCP solutions for internal and external customers.Work with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure GCP solutions.Monitor and troubleshoot GCP solutions to ensure they are operating as expected.Stay up to date on the latest GCP technologies and best practices.Mandatory Skills Bachelor's degree from in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, required.+2 years of IT industry experience with GCP with good experience with a variety of GCP services, including Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, etc.Good proficiency in Python and/or Bash scriptingExperience with other programming languages such as Java or C++Familiarity with networking and security conceptsStrong verbal and written communication skillsDesirable skills Google across multiple cloud services: big data and analytics, (e.g., BigQuery), networking, serverless, AI / MLKnowledge in Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or GitHubCI/CD pipelines: experience with Cloud Build, Jenkins, or similar on GCPProficiency in Python, especially for automation and serverlessFamiliar with IAM best practices, pricing models, usage monitoring, and techniques to reduce GCP spendingDiversity and Inclusion at Wipro Wipro is an advocate for positive change and conscious inclusion.
