Location: Portugal (Portuguese residency required )Work model: Remote DESCRIPTION: Join our team as a Platform Engineer. You will manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. Your role includes overseeing the migration process, designing and maintaining the cloud platform, and integrating on-site systems with cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, with excellent communication and teamwork abilities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: De sign, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud solutions on Azure. Oversee cloud infrastructure performance, cost-efficiency, and compliance with data protection laws. Automate deployments and configurations using Azure DevOps and related tools. Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into applications. Plan and execute disaster recovery and backup strategies. Optimize resource utilization and implement cost-saving measures. Stay updated on Azure services and industry best practices. Provide technical support and guidance on cloud-related issues. Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architectures and procedures. Facilitate the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based solutions. Manage security and access controls for cloud environments. Develop infrastructure as code (IaC ) using tools like Terraform. Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for technical escalations. QUALIFICATIONS: Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including design, deployment, and optimization. Knowledge of IaaS and PaaS solutions. Experience with Jira and ServiceNow. Experience automating cloud deployments and configuration management using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and ARM templates. Experience designing, migrating, and operating enterprise infrastructure and application systems. Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform, Azure CLI, Puppet, or Ansible.
