Purpose of Position
Assist the General Counsel in providing legal review and advice to the company to protect the organisation's reputation and business interests and ensure it complies with all relevant laws and regulations for business operations within Europe.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Conduct detailed and comprehensive review, analysis and drafting contracts with suppliers (national and international) on various issues;
Draft, revise and update contract templates in accordance with Procurement needs ensuring NJE business interest and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations;
Provide legal support and advice regarding supplier's contract and regulatory compliance matters in NetJets Europe Group procurement;
Verify contracts preparing documentation received from the Sales team guaranteeing corporate or individual compliance of NJE clients (ex: confirm legal representative and due diligence and reputational risk assessment) and liaise with the Sales Team additional information for final approval for contract issuance;
Assist the contract team in reviewing sales contracts and letters of confirmation amending sales contracts according to the pertaining sales request and internal approvals, and drafting complex Letter of confirmation wording;
Provide training to the contracts team in all legal matters related to the Sales contracts issued by the Contracts team. Assuring the contract team understands and complies with all legal requirements pertaining to the issuance of Sales contracts;
Manage and maintain Aeronautical Registration and information with Portuguese Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC), such as Aircraft De-/Registration, De/Registration of aircraft ownership transfer, Aircraft disposal etc.;
Manage and Maintain all certificates pertaining to NetJets business and Aircraft Operator Certificate requirements at ANAC and European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA);
Advise on employment matters, benefits systems and collective bargaining agreement ensuring compliance with employment laws, and review of employment materials, and defending against employment-related claims;
Identify and assess legal risks and opportunities within the labour and employment area and advises accordingly;
Preparing information on legislation applicable to various areas in which NetJets operates and conduct training with the aim of clarifying and sharing critical information within the ambit of compliance and enforcement of legal norms;
Conduct common litigation activities, including negotiation, legal writing, oral advocacy and counselling;
Create and maintain a corporate records, legal library, reference manuals, and resource materials;
Establishes and maintains relationships, credibility and trust with clients, stakeholders, legal team members and ensure interaction with the different functional areas of NetJets within the scope of the role;
Conduct regulatory research when requested.

Legal University Degree;
Minimum of 5 years law bar admission;
Minimum of 7 years of legal experience in private practice and/or in-house (in-house experience is preferred);
Solid experience in employment law;
Fluency in Business English (written and spoken);
Proficiency in MS Office.
