Role DescriptionThe role of a Senior Software Engineer at YLD involves being part of a client team working on innovative products. This role requires problem-solving skills, the ability to craft scalable architectures, effective communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced engineering environment.
ProfileYLD Software Engineering Consultants are skilled developers who set high standards in software engineering and enjoy sharing their knowledge and experience with others. They work in Agile environments with a test-first mindset and promote pair programming and code reviews.
TasksCrafting excellent products for client customersCollaborating on engineering initiatives to improve constantlyMentoring team members to accelerate career growthOwning production operation and monitoring products inline with SLAsDriving good practices within the teamParticipating in show and tells to showcase workRequirementsYou should have experience as a Backend Engineer with proficiency in languages like Python, Java, or similar. Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization, distributed version control systems, databases, continuous integration, and delivery is essential. Other requirements include experience in building scalable applications, RESTful web services, and performance monitoring tools.
