We are recruiting for the summer of 2024 Check our job oportunities available and join the wave nestEntertainer About Us Wave Nest Surfcamp is a sustainable surf tourism provider. Basically, we organise a whole week of activities for you to enjoy surfing, yoga, nature, and social life with people from all over.Job Description: Do you love being the one explaining the rules whilst playing a new game, and being the centre of attention? We are looking for an individual with extremely natural fun characteristics, while being willing to put in the work of organising most of the activities and events.Responsibilities: Strategically plan and coordinate engaging weekly activities for everyone, ensuring an exciting and diverse range of entertainment options, together with the manager and other department heads.Ensure all activities align with our commitment to community and sustainable responsibility.Welcome all the guests into our surfcamp, explaining the rules and spaces to a perfect stay.With the help of other crew members, maintain and clean up all the areas used for the activities, and keep a nicely organised storage.Provide exceptional customer service, fostering positive interactions with guests in a friendly and professional manner.Respond promptly to guest feedback and complaints, taking proactive measures to address issues and continuously improve the quality of entertainment services.Foster a positive and fun atmosphere at all times, ensuring that guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience throughout their stay.Conduct team introductions every Saturday after dinner, providing guests with an opportunity to meet and connect with the entertainment team for the upcoming week.Qualifications:Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.Fluent in English, other languages is a plus.Able to rise under pressure.Knowledge of how to address customers in a very positive environment.Ability to speak to a large crowd is essential.After checkout on Saturdays, around 12am, the entire Wave Nest crew will unite to deep clean the camp for a few hours. Each member of the crew has a role. As an entertainer, welcoming the new guests as they arrive is a main priority, making sure no guest arrives without being welcomed with a smile.This position comes with a range of benefits designed to make your experience with us both enjoyable and fulfilling.Accommodation: Embrace surf camp life inside a tent in the staff camping zone. Your accommodation includes a proper mattress, bedframe, pillow, blanket, and bedding, along with access to electricity.Meals: Enjoy homemade breakfast, lunch, and dinner every single day, prepared by our talented kitchen team.Surf Gear: You will have access to all surfing material, as well as access to our high performance surfboards made by Fatum Surfboards for advanced surfers.Yoga Classes : If the daily yoga session slots aren't full, you can put your name down and enjoy a free session with our yoga instructor.Activities: Crew or guests, everyone is more than welcome to join our activities programmed for everyone to enjoy making new friends and having a great time.Time Off: Benefit from one day off per week, aligned with the main department's schedule, to explore the surroundings, spend the whole day in the water or simply relax and recharge.We open from the 1st of June until 26 of October#J-18808-Ljbffr
