Elastomer Solutions is a leading provider of rubber, thermoplastic, and rubber-to-plastic (2K) components for the automotive industry. With a strong international presence, we have a Full Service Development Center in Germany and three manufacturing plants in Portugal, Morocco, and Mexico. Our objective is to be close to our main customers and contribute to their success.
About the Role
We are seeking a talented individual to join our corporate sales team. As a key member, you will provide support throughout the process and work collaboratively with your colleagues.
Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities:
To consistently pursue new sales orders and manage RFQs and nominations in line with or exceeding established targets and margins.
Key Tasks:
• Proactively propose actions to reduce costs and improve profitability with Development, Industrialization, and Operations teams for customer accounts.
• Develop and implement account plans to achieve sales targets, foster account growth, and identify new business opportunities.
• Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions that meet their objectives.
• Plan and carry out regular customer visits (national and abroad), including organizing business trips.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts to maximize revenue generation.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to proactively identify potential threats and opportunities.
• Participate in national and international fairs and exhibitions.
• Upload requests for quotations into the internal calculation system.
• Follow up on quotations and promote problem-solving near the customer.
• Issue LBP, quotations, and price negotiations with Customers, controlling product prices and profitability over time.
• Support sales terms and conditions definitions.
• Issue and verify NDA's, LOI's, manage contract negotiations, renewals, and pricing discussions in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
• Issue development and cooperation contracts; collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback and insights from clients, contributing to the development of new products/services.
• Commercial support of running projects until EOP.
• Weekly sales reporting to supervisors and management, supporting Sales Forecast and Budget planning.
• Implement and observe quality, environment, and safety processes in your field of competence and according to system references and customer requirements. Qualifications
- University degree in Business or similar.
Required Skills
- Proficient level of English (mandatory).
- Previous experience in sales environments of at least 6 years, working in the Automotive Industry.
- Target-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
